The Sparke Helmore Corporate Challenge involves local businesses, corporations, and Government Departments having employees run as many 1km laps as possible in 30 minutes. Teams need a minimum of 10 employees to form a team. Teams are encouraged to have as many employees present as possible and prizes will be awarded for the team that is able to collectively complete the most number of laps. Runners will be allowed to continue on a final lap if they pass through the start/finish area in 27 minutes, but all runners have to have finished their final lap after 35 minutes.
A $1000 donation to a chosen charity will be awarded to the winning teams (overall and for organisations with less then 20 employees).
Employees of all registered teams are able to participate in complimentary running training sessions beginning on the 30th of November.
Cost to enter is $200 per team.
