Orienteering Event (Novice 3-4km)

Two Orienteering courses will be created on Mt Stromlo and will vary in distance and difficulty. They will consist of a sprint (novice) course 3-4 km in length and an elite course of 7-8km. Courses will be designed and set by members of the ACT Orienteering Association.

Prizes will be awarded for the fastest male and female times over the sprint course, as well as random prize draws for sprint course competitors. Cash prizes will be available for the elite event.

Courses will start and finish in the event hub and maps and compasses will be provided for those who require them.
